The main goal of the project is to create a know-how about functioning of Earth and foster the environmental behavior of individuals, pointing out the necessity of rational energy consumption, importance of the renewable resources and their possible usage. We have chosen this project theme in order to increase the awareness of young people;  public and other project participants about the current conditions related to the energy sources, which capacity is limited and can be depleted in the near future. In this project we intend to increase the attractiveness of the innovative methods and acquire new knowledge about this matter to empower young people with new skills. At the same time we would like to pass this valuable knowledge to all participants of the project and to the general public through the mass and information media. This action will also  foster the development of social, civic, intercultural competences,scientific literacy and critical thinking of young people.

       Development of an e-learning module and education of target groups in all partner’s countries to gain the personal competences needed for successful initiatives; organization of science events about renewable energies in the selected cities is addressing the achievement of relevant and high quality skills and competences as  it supports  individuals in acquiring and developing key competences  in renewable energy  technologies in order to foster employability and socio-educational development. 

    Moreover the e-learning module shall also foster employment in green technologies and empower youth by supporting the effective  use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education, training and youth.
Science events will promoting the acquisition of skills and competences, by addressing achievement in science through effective and innovative teaching and assessment; promoting entrepreneurship education; fostering critical thinking especially through teaching science in environmental and cultural context.

       The project aims to: 

-increase young people's competence in renewable energy through innovative and creative     learning
- train the local actors to be able to organize their community for launching a local renewable energy initiative with bottom up approach  - train the local actors to be able to select the technologically, agriculturally, economically, socially and environmentally best fitting option for their community.  
The general aim of the project is to raise awareness about the importance of adopting sustainable habits and behaviors. We aim at making young people and public feel more concerned about these issues, and make them more eco-responsible citizens. Hereby we hope that the young people realize that some problems concerning sustainability can be dealt with on a local and even personal level. Hence developing a sense of how they can convince others to act in a sustainable way.
