Iserundschmidt GmbH is the leading agency which is specialized in science and knowledge communication in Germany. Iserunschmidt has extensive experiences in education, youth projects, IT services, online and digital media. The company is over 10 years the press department of the German Physical Society (DPG) which is supported, from the beginning, by the German Ministry for Education and Research as well as the German Science Community in the process of Public Understanding of Science and Humanities (PUSH). Iserundschmidt created many science festivals and shows, produced high quality print and digital media, including scientific and educational social media platforms. The project team of the Company is composed of experts working on especially on youth, education and media.

    Iserundschmidt is experienced in research projects about education since many years. From 2005-2008 and 2009-2012 iserundschmidt was member of a research consortium, which was engaged with the research question, how to enlighten young people for the theme of renewable energies. In this context Iserundschmidt created an educational online game to find out, how to attract young students to deal with renewable energies in their free time. Another part of this project was a survey about the question, if the subject of renewable energy is grounded in the school curricula and the schedules of schools.

   "The powerado project: adventure world renewable energies” was awarded as UN decade project for sustainable development and funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.

   Iserundschmidt is in cooperation with the ministries and foundations, especially on youth projects.The company worked as strategic consulting on development of the social media platform for the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) „Technikum“ to initiate the communication between young people (trainees), employers (trainee teachers) and universities (co-operation partners) during a trainee program in science and technology companies. (www.technikum.de) with a Budget of 150.000 Euro (2009).

  Iserundschmidt is giving advisory and consultancy services for universities, ministries, foundations, individual companies, public and private institutions.
